Features of the Boss CE-5 Chorus Pedal

This compact ensemble pedal covers everything from subtle textures to extreme modulated sounds with high-cut and low-cut filters.

The pedal offers five dedicated control knobs for precise shaping. You can adjust the level, rate, depth, and the unique dual-frequency filters.

The high-cut filter helps smooth out the top end of your signal. This is ideal for vintage warmth or reducing harshness in bright rigs.

The low-cut filter preserves the clarity of your low-end frequencies. It ensures your tone remains punchy without becoming muddy or indistinct.

Stereo outputs allow for a wide, immersive soundstage. Connecting two amplifiers creates a deep, spatial shimmer that standard mono pedals lack.

Guitarists appreciate the rugged Boss chassis design. This stompbox is built to withstand the rigors of heavy touring and frequent stage use.

Keyboard players also benefit from the wide frequency response. It adds harmonic richness to digital pianos, synths, and electronic organs alike.

The pedal features a buffered bypass system. This maintains signal integrity even when using long cable runs across large performance stages.

Powering the unit is simple and versatile. It operates on a standard 9V battery or an optional AC adapter for consistent pedalboard power.

The Rate knob controls the speed of the modulation. You can achieve slow, sweeping oceanic waves or fast, rotating speaker-style warbles easily.

The Depth knob dictates the intensity of the chorus effect. Dial it back for a gentle thickening or crank it for dramatic pitch modulation.

Its compact footprint fits easily on any board. The non-slip rubber base prevents sliding during intense foot switching during live performances.

Boss has a long history of industry-standard modulation. This unit continues that legacy by providing studio-quality audio in a portable format.

Simple operation makes it accessible for beginners. Professional features ensure it meets the demands of seasoned studio session musicians.

Whether you need a classic 1980s pop tone or modern experimental textures, this tool provides the flexibility required for any musical genre.
